Agents responded and determined they were citizens of Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico in the country illegally. They were arrested and transported to the station. Record checks on two Mexican citizens, revealed they are Gulf Cartel members. One of them has been active in the gang for many years and is training the other.
Fiscal year 2021, Border Patrol agents around the nation arrested 325 gang members, of those, more than 150 gang members were arrested in the RGV.
