As Thanksgiving approaches, communities across the country come together to celebrate the holiday spirit. This year, the Rio Grande Valley witnessed a remarkable gathering at the McAllen Convention Center, where the 35th annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing took place. On an early Sunday in November, this cherished event served as a beacon of hope and warmth, nourishing the spirits of approximately 10,000 attendees.

A Community Effort

The Feast of Sharing stands as a testament to the power of community, with dedicated volunteers like Julius Cortez playing pivotal roles in its success. Cortez expressed the significance of coming together to support those in need, emphasizing how the act of serving a warm meal ignites a sense of togetherness and compassion.
