UTRGV (5-13, 3-4 SLC) kicked off the match with a compelling performance in doubles, managing to rally and secure the crucial doubles point by winning on courts two and three.

Juniors Rhea Makesar and Hitakamya Narwal put together an impressive display, capturing their second win of the homestand by successfully defeating Nicholls’ Amalie Grube Andersen and Blanca Losada with a score of 6-2.

Narwal added to UTRGV’s commanding performance by securing a quick 6-0, 6-1 win on court four. After only allowing her opponent to win one game in the second set, Narwal closed the match effectively, pushing UTRGV’s lead to 5-0.
