The Rio Grande Valley’s Shaine Casas secured a trip to the 2024 Summer Olympics after his performance at the U.S. Olympic swimming trials earned him a spot on Team USA.

Casas will be heading to Paris with former University of Texas swimmer Carson Foster, who finished just ahead of Casas in the 200M with a time of 1:55.65.
“He was a very fussy baby and he loved being in the bathtub or the pool,” Epling said.
