Three Suspects Charged in Downtown McAllen Shooting

McAllen Police Arrest Three Linked to Bar Shooting Incident

The McAllen Police Department has made significant strides in their investigation of a shooting that occurred outside the No Manches Wuey bar on a recent Sunday. Authorities have charged three individuals believed to be involved in the incident and are actively seeking three additional suspects.

Charges Filed Against Suspects in McAllen Shooting

Authorities have charged Bryan Vasquez, 23, and Humberto Ojeda Jr., 22, with serious offenses including criminal attempt murder and engaging in organized criminal activity. In a separate charge, Hugo Ivan Ojeda, aged 20, faces a class A misdemeanor for failure to report a felony.

Ongoing Investigation and Unidentified Victim

While police continue their investigation, the victim of the shooting has yet to be publicly identified. However, reports indicate that he is a 22-year-old male from Donna. The McAllen Police are urging the community to assist in locating the three additional individuals linked to the case.

Description of Additional Suspects

Details of the three suspects sought by police are as follows:

  • Alejandro Gomez, 18: Approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs around 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
  • Naila Reyes, 28: Estimated at 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
  • Viviana Gomez, 22: Stands at 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs around 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

All three suspects have last known addresses in Donna, Texas.

Current Status of Arrested Individuals

Hugo Ojeda has already posted bail the day after his arrest, set at $3,000. In contrast, Humberto Ojeda and Bryan Vasquez remain in custody, each held on $225,000 bonds.
